I'm probably also affected by this bug. I am facing the issue of
bluetoothctl is not being able to discover any devices. This started
like one week ago and before that I was using my bluetooth headsets
every day for work.
What have I tried?
- restarting bluetooth service via systemctl
- uninstalling bluez
- installing / uninstalling blueman
- installing bluez via snap
Nothing worked.
My Asus is:
"ASUS Vivobook Pro 14X OLED N7400PC-KM135X" and running Ubuntu 20.04.6
When doing "dmesg | grep -i blue; lsusb; lsb_release -a; uname -a; hwinfo
--short;"
I receive this output

bluetooth is not softblocked in rfkill list all
I go to the bluetooth settings and try to toggle it on, it toggles but
nothing happens. I switch tabs and return to bluetooth settings, and it's like
I never toggled it.
I think there is an issue with my device being supported. I use an
ASUS Vivobook 15.
