I thought I could fix it with a new install and therefore tried installing a daily build of 23.04. The live USB audio worked, and audio was working on first boot of the new system, but after running updates and rebooting, sound was broken again. At the time that I tried this (last night) I wasn't yet aware that it was a kernel issue, so I wasn't watching logs or kernel versions or anything. If needed, I can repeat the test and retrieve any logs that you need, but I'm back to 22.04.2 for the time being, now that I know the workaround.

Tryed to attach the logs to that report, but it apport wont allow and suggested me to create a new bug report. The automated way with apport-bug doesn't help because it will not find the HDMI audio hardware (thats precisely the bug). So if I boot with this kernel, HDMI video output still works, but HDMI audio output dissapears from the sound manager If I boot with Kernel 5.19.0-32 everything works back as expected. I'm in a Ubuntu 22.04 derivate: Linux Mint 21.1 Included lspci-vnvn.log in attach.
