I don't know the capabilities of the USB-C port you're using, or the model of dock you're using. But I would not be surprised if this is some bottleneck whereby the combination of this particular USB-C port and this particular dock do not have enough bandwidth to drive two 3440x1440 monitors at the same time.
Maybe it works on Windows due to better bandwidth management or just because this is a Linux bug that we haven't narrowed down yet. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2007180 Title: 3rd Monitor detected but not activated (two connected via USB-C dock) Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: I have 2 external monitors, both external monitors are detected but the display is allowing only 1 to be activated.
