Title:
Dell firmware updates cause other updates to not install correctly on
  Kubuntu 22.04

Status in fwupd package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I recently installed Kubuntu 22.04 in a dual-boot system with Windows
  - my computer did not ship with Linux. I ran an update through the KDE
app Discover that updated the Dell BIOS. This update appeared to be
successful. I then booted into Kubuntu and saw that Discover was
telling me to restart to install other updates I had downloaded. I
rebooted, but the message was still there. It appears that the updates
are not actually installing when I restart. I am running a Dell XPS 17
9700. I have UEFI Secure Boot enabled. I have shut down the computer
and booted into Kubuntu again, but this did not solve the issue. I ran
  fwupdmgr update and got

Devices with no available firmware updates:
   • DELL098F:00 04F3:311C
   • Integrated Webcam HD
Devices with the latest available firmware version:
   • UEFI dbx

...which suggests that a bad EFI binary is not at fault, as a person
suggested to me.
I'm not sure what package, if any, is the problem here.
I expected the updates to install normally upon restarting, as they usually
do. I instead experienced the above.
Thanks for any help in advance.
