3) What you expected to happen
I expect cpupower and perf to be present also for ppa mainline
kernels. It has been bothering me for a while now that it is not part
of what is built.
4) What happened instead
$ sudo perf stat -a -e power/energy-pkg/,power/energy-cores/,cycles -I 1000
sleep 1000
