I don't know how, I'm still on 5.10. Don't know how to upgrade oeam kernel, it doesn't go automatically and that's one of the reasons I'm not comfortable with it, another is that ubuntu-bug tool doesn't recognize this kernel as own but treats it as unsupported third-party. My current command line is: BOOT_IMAGE=/vmlinuz-5.10.0-1057-oem root=/dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-root ro intel_idle.max_cstate=4 i915.enable_psr=0 i915.reset=2 tsc=unstable quiet splash crashkernel=512M-:192M vt.handoff=7 and one of those switches seems to work around the issue, I would like to get rid of those to avoid performance/battery issues but not sure which flag I should disable first after upgrading to 5.17?
