gdm crashes and restarts after suspend

Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
Between 10 and 30 min. after I have waken up Ubuntu from suspend to
RAM the gpu hangs and gdm is restarted. After I've logged in again
Compiz isn't started but everything else works as it normally does.
In Karmic my computer suffered from this bug:
