The Grub2 menu shows up ok. But the only way that I am able to boot Ubuntu 13.10(live or installed) is if I disable the NIC(using BIOS). If the NIC is enabled, then the screen stays black. I am however able to boot in Fedora 20 almost every time. Sometimes, the same issues happens with Fedora too.
