** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398552 Title: longhaul is loaded despite being reported broken Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: Problem is occurring since kernel .31.2 on Karmic Koala In kernel .28.xx Longhaul is also reported as "is currently broken in this configuration" on startup, but it is not loaded. I could therefore use e_powersaver which works good. This is not possible anymore since Longhaul is loaded anyway. It seems to be compiled into the kernel so I cannot disable it. Wouldn't it be better to have it as a module? I'm using a HP mini 2133 with a VIA C7-m CPU. I hope that is enough information. My first bug report :) Cheers Reto To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/398552/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
