Title: Focal (20.04): IR Remote Keys Repeat Many Times Starting with Kernel 5.8.0-49 Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: The bug reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1926030 affects Focal (20.04). I use an IR remote with the ir-keytable package. Everything was working fine until kernel 5.8.0-49 was automatically installed by Software Updater on Ubuntu 20.04.2. When any key is pressed on the remote, the key is repeated about 500 times. The kernel is now 5.8.0-50, and the problem persists.
