Did you mean for me to download all 7 of the modules at this URL and compile them?
BTW the system booted this time with the 5.07.13 kernel but it had errors I didn't have time to see. I guess because I disabled the "invalid signature" parameter. These are the only errors I encountered in the Boot.log: Starting Load/Save Screen Backlight Brightness of backlight:amdgpu_bl0... You will need to try an older kernel version that's still newer than the 5.8.0 that caused this bug. Maybe try: https://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v5.10.56/amd64/ Also the "invalid signature" problem I think is caused by Secure Boot. Try disabling Secure Boot in your BIOS. -- You received this bug notification because you are subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937321 Title: System freeze (amdgpu kernel crash on resume from suspend) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-5.8/+bug/1937321/+subscriptions -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-hwe-5.8 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937321 Title: System freeze (amdgpu kernel crash on resume from suspend) Status in linux-hwe-5.8 package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: System freezes after I close the lid on the laptop and leave it closed overnight.
