Thanks Siddu, Forgive my ignorance, but may I ask what commands I need to run to make this happen. I am currently running 3.13.0-031300rc3-generic kernal.
I installed the ppa no problem sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sduddikunta/z580 sudo apt-get update but then how do I correctly install the packages from the repository? sudo apt-get install linux-z580 Reading package lists... I presume I should perhaps delete the old linux image if I want this to work? I'd love specific instructions if anybody could help me out. I see a blank screen with a cursor but nothing happens after that. Trying to boot into recovery mode is not useful either. Booting into an older version of the kernel (3.2.0.29) is successful.
