Public bug reported: [Impact]
* Linux kernel comes with useful GDB scripts under scripts/gdb. * These bring new commands helping in debugging like lx-clk-summary, lx-cpus, lx-device-list-tree, lx-genpd-summary, lx-symbols, lx-timerlist and more * It would be useful to have them installed in dbgsym package. [Test Plan] * Build package with and without skipdbg. * Check if GDB scripts are installed in /usr/lib/debug/share [Where problems could occur] * This is packaging and Makefile change, so no particular runtime issues expected. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Krzysztof Kozlowski (krzk) Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Krzysztof Kozlowski (krzk) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1928715 Title: Debugging symbols (dbgsym) packages are missing GDB kernel scripts Status in linux package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: [Impact] * Linux kernel comes with useful GDB scripts under scripts/gdb. * These bring new commands helping in debugging like lx-clk-summary, lx-cpus, lx-device-list-tree, lx-genpd-summary, lx-symbols, lx-timerlist and more * It would be useful to have them installed in dbgsym package.
