Public bug reported:

If a user does not have the same version of binutils installed as the
one used to produce the nvidia module signature, the module generated at
postinst maybe unloadable:

modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'nvidia': Key was rejected by service

I ran into this when I tried to install the hirsute kernel/nvidia driver
on a focal system.

** Affects: linux-restricted-modules (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
