I started running a bisect but it takes hours for one step. It's not a realistic option.
Adding snd_hda_intel to /etc/modules doesn't work, so a crappy workaround is to add @reboot /sbin/modprobe snd_hda_intel to root's crontab, until I can be bothered to come back to this, but I just don't have the time right now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1920707 Title: AMD A4-5300: no sound Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Starting with linux-4.15.0-137-generic, there is no sound at all on a system with an AMD A4-5300.
