Setting ncores to 4 via --core=4 seems to fix this. $ ~/Foundation_v8pkg/models/Linux64_GCC-4.1/Foundation_v8 --image boot- wrapper-aarch64/linux-system.axf --block-device ubuntu-core-13.10-core- arm64.img --network=nat --network-nat-ports="2222=22,8080=80" --cores=4
