despite everything fine with connection, route & wifi connected too

Wifi device freezes consistently, haven't worked with WiFi since last
month, using USB tethering from phone to use internet, with that
method everything is working smooth, but as soon as WiFi is switched
on, 90 precent chance, that I'll have to restart laptop
