Public bug reported: I am using a USB 3.0 hub that works fine under windows or on my ubuntu desktop, but when connected to my ubuntu laptop all devices connected to the usb hub get disconnected after a few seconds. It I'm only connecting a mouse and keyboard so it shouldn't be using up too much current to overload the port. Also When connecting the devices directly to the usb ports on the laptop, there are no problems.
