Public bug reported:

I have been running 18.04 upgraded on my laptop and today after a
restart-to-upgrade... starting up with Ubuntu 4.15.0-112, the latest
update, it blinks, shows Superblock last write time is in the future...
messages in the top left of the screen, then blanks black screen and
shows the error again.

This is super confusing as I checked the time in BIOS, "date" on terminal and
they were correct.
Adjtime hasn't been changed since 2018 and contains:

$ cat /etc/adjtime
0.0 0 0.0
0
LOCAL

When I go to advanced options I chose the last kernel and now it boots ok.
