Hey Derek, In my case I was able to boot on kernel 5.4.0-33. >From there I removed kernel 5.4.0-37.
There is something wrong with the update / kernel. When I tried booting on 5.4.0-37, it's like nothing happened. Just a black screen. I'm sure we are all facing the same issue. It's too bad none of us can provide any log files for this bug.
