  upgrade to kernel 2.6.28-13.17 sound card not detected

Status in linux-restricted-modules package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.28-13-generic

  On Jaunty 9.04

  Sound stopped working after upgrading kernel.

  cat/proc/asound/cards returns no such file or directory, but lspci
  shows that sound card is there.

  Sound works when booting into previous kernel 2.6.28-11.15
