Bug description:
I have a lenovo g700-notebook. i installed ubuntu 13.10. on monday. It
was very tricky. On startup with Ubuntu-Install-USB-Stick after
aprox. 30 secs. the screen got dark. I didn't know whats going on. so
i tried starting several times. At least i mentioned that the
brightness was at minimum (screen dark). The brightness-key allows to
darken the screen absolutely, so you dont see what happens. At least
i'd like to save the screen-brightness, but i'm unable to do this. On
startup the brightness is always on 'dark'-mode and i have to brighten
up the screen.
WORKAROUND: Increase brightness via F12.
