I first realized that I have a problem when running the installer. I had to connect an older monitor connected to my DVI-I port in order to run the installer. After installation I tried to make ubuntu understand that I'm trying to use my HDMI port and I used all kinds of commands suggested to me at #ubuntu@freenode but no avail. I tried ubuntu 16.04 and the problem was not there. The installer was fine and the OS was fine until I upgraded to 18.04 and the problem came back. I have tried installing different OSs recently and I had no problems with Windows 10 and Linux Mint. I tried Debian and the installer was fine but when OS started, there was the same problem as with ubuntu 18.04.
