Screen goes black and system unresponsive. Usual suspects - disable vt switching, console=tty1, nosplash, no plymouth, disable plymouth, hard set framebuffer mode - don't solve the problem. Problem also exists in mainline and vanilla upstream kernels with gma500_gfx, although gma500_gfx on 3.3rc5 gets slightly further in that it redraws the screen text after the framebuffer initializes at a rate of about 1 line every 3 seconds. If you wait long enough, kernel kicks out stalls as follows (on 3.3rc5): ioremap error for 0x3f675000-0x3f678000, requested 0x10, got 0x0 gma500 0000:00:02.0: GTT PCI BAR not initialized. gma500 0000:00:02.0: GATT PCI BAR not initialized.
