Unfortunately when I suspend the machine to throw it into my bag, it immediately wakes up causing an issue where the machine will run hot in 85 - 90 degree weather while I am in town. This is not a firmware issue as I have downgraded the BIOS and I have also observed how it worked fine under Arch Linux. I am not entirely sure which package is responsible to interact with acpi under Debian/Ubuntu $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Release: 18.04 Here is my version.log output, I will provide them as separate attachments per the guidelines Ubuntu 4.18.0-25.26~18.04.1-generic 4.18.20 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1836456/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
