  I use Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS on a Lenovo Thinkpad T460p.

  Today I upgraded to Kernel 4.15.0-44 – since then my system crashes
  when logging in (when the display resolution should switch). The
  previous Kernel 4.15.0-43 works fine, though.
