Title:
login page first appears sideways for Lenovo miix 510 ubuntu 18.04
  and 18.10

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have experienced this for ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10 on a Lenovo Miix
510 laptop. This problem is fixed on ubuntu 19.04

The login page appears sideways (the mouse orientation is sideways
also). After logging in the screen is corrected. I believe the issue
lies with the detection of the accelerometer or perhaps the driver of
  the accelerometer.
