Title:
Ubuntu Display port monitor support
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Hello,
We use Connect monitor via Display port, whenever for newer
installation, after Ubuntu initial splash screen, the display will
goes off. Then we need to choose ACPI=off, everytime, but this is not
a good practise, if you enabled the support.
Please consider for ubuntu installation support for DP monitors.
Everytime I'm using ACPI=off , then proceed with installation.
Hopefully in the next ISO release please add DP monitor support.
Please add for 18.xx and 16.xx version.
Thanks
