I would like to apply this patch but I don't see any instructions how to do that. Can anyone show me? I am fairly new to the Linux world. I have the Ubuntu 13.10 installation in an ISO file and when I start it up in my Windows 2008 Hyper V, I get the problem described here and I cannot install Ubuntu. Do I have to inject this code somewhere in the ISO? which folder? and what name/extension should I save this patch code as? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1234413 Title: Display driver is malfunctioning for Ubuntu 13.10 VMs on Hyper-V Server 2008R2 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: Hi folks, We noticed that when a Ubuntu 13.10 VM is created on Windows Server 2008 R2, the graphical output is corrupted.
