Computer fails to wake up from sleep, about 10% of attempts

Bug description:
About 1 out 10 attempts, my computer fails to wake up from sleep.
Instead of waking up, it switches off.
It doesn't matter if I wake from power button or keyboard.
Looks like this is a recent development, as this worked okay until a few
months ago.
