Public bug reported: Currently the GCP/GKE kernel does not install the extra modules package by default and there's no easy way to install it other than installing the specific version package for each kernel version (ie: linux-modules- extra-${kernel-abi-version}-gcp).
It's necessary to include a meta pointing to the current binary extra modules packages. ** Affects: linux-gcp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-gcp in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1780923 Title: linux-gcp: add a meta package for the extra modules Status in linux-gcp package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Currently the GCP/GKE kernel does not install the extra modules package by default and there's no easy way to install it other than installing the specific version package for each kernel version (ie: linux-modules-extra-${kernel-abi-version}-gcp).
