The error message appears again in Ubuntu 18.04, kernel 4.15.0-22-generic, with module 0a5c:216c. I already posted this on https://askubuntu.com/questions/1043171/broadcom-bcm43242a0-bluetooth-adapter-not-detected-in-ubuntu-18-04 Is it possible that the fix got lost in a newer kernel version?
