Issue is not specific to 18.04, but what I can say is: Until now, we were installing EFI method with this linux/initrd options. But now we need to test with pure EFI option, so we are forced to use linuxefi and initrdefi.
We are ok with one of the following options. 1. how to change permanently in grub.cfg the linux to linuxefi and initrd to initrdefi 2.
