The bug in the kernel disables my nvidia video driver as well as disabling wifi and usb networking. I have no access to the internet so I can not submit an apport-collect.

I recently upgraded to Bionic using update-manager -d. My workaround is to use the old kernel 4.13.0.25.26 instead. My laptop boots fine with the old kernel and bumblebee works. I suspect there is some problem with bumblebee's compatibility with the new kernel.
