After GRUB message 'loading initrd' screen is cleared and machine restarts BIOS. Nothing is written to screen or system log. Mainline kernels up to 4.14.9 for arch i386 works fine. Booting same machine with mainline kernel 4.14.11 for arch amd64 works fine.
