Tested with 3.12.0-031200rc7-generic. Same result: no network after resume. Manually unloading and reloading r8169 module (via modprobe) doesn't work. Restart required to get Ethernet connection up and running again.

On the same hardware, Saucy is unable to re-establish the wired Ethernet connection. If I reload the network module (after resume: sudo modprobe r8169), networking is still not restored. Only the following manual sequence restores networking: 1. sudo modprobe -r r8169 2. sudo modprobe r8169 Also adding SUSPEND_MODULES="r8169" to "modules" (in /etc/pm/config.d/) doesn't seem to help. Strangely enough, when resuming within a minute or so (after suspend), the network connection is restored (with the added modules file). Resuming after 5 minutes (and more) does not restore network connection.
