For me, IBM R61i x86, ubuntu 13.10. * Suspend and wakeup for the first time, everything goes fine; * Suspend again, and wakeup, network become "unmanaged"; * "sudo service networking restart", system freezes.

Clicking "Enable network" just produces a tick in the menu item but nothing else is changed. I can do "sudo service network-manager restart" to work around it.
