Cannot launch virtual instance on nova host after upgrading to kernel
4.4.0.92- works with 4.4.0.83

OS- Ubuntu 14.04 ppc64el
previous kernel 3.19.0.68
Nova Compute host using kvm - Openstack Liberty
HWE was out of date so needed to update
Steps:
sudo apt-get install linux-generic-lts-xenial linux-image-generic-lts-xenial
sudo init 6
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo init 6
afterwards - system seemed ok - kernel 4.4.0.92 installed
However, launching a Ubuntu VM failed

Installing kernel 4.4.0.83 and booting off it resolved issue.
Problem seems to be related to post 4.4.0.83 kernels
