Title:
USB bluetooth head set doesn't get reactivated

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I have a usb bt headset and a seperate mouse both attached to a KVM
  switch.

Until a few weeks ago I could switch between the two machines easily.
Now when I switch back to Kubuntu, I can't reactivate the headset
  somehow.

The BT connection gets established, when I press volume buttons on the
headset I see the onscreen display. However no sound is being played
from apps and stuff. Also KDE multimedia settings has the headset
  greyed out.

I tried to disconnect and reconnect the dongle but that didn't help
  either. ONly rebooting helps.
