Title:
"port does not support device sleep" on Dell Precision 5520
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I'm seeing messages like below on Dell Precision 5520, which is on an
Ubuntu certified hardware list:
https://certification.ubuntu.com/hardware/201610-25144/
BIOS is updated to the latest version available: 1.1.3
The system has this SATA controller:
00:17.0 SATA controller: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H SATA
controller [AHCI mode] (rev 31)
And this 256 GB SSD disk:
Model Number: SanDisk X400 2.5 7MM 256GB
Firmware Revision: X4130012
There is a firmware upgrade available for SSD storage on Dell website,
but unfortunately, the installer is Windows only (a weird thing for a
Ubuntu certified hardware IMO) - therefore, I was no able to apply it.
