Title:
kworker consumes system
Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
There are multiple mentions of kworker consuming a system but not enough
information to act on. We had to shut down the system with 20+ instances of
kworker. Any idea of how or what to expect in term of a fix or a means to stop
the proliferation of the process?
We are using the latest Natty in the clasic mode on a x86 32 bit machine.
We don't even know what the kworker is supposed to accomplish and there is no
system documentation.
