  usb2 port stops working after resume from suspend

  on my HP envy 15, devices plugged into the usb2/esata port stop
  working after resuming from suspend.  usb3 ports work ok, but display
  bug #714708, so can't plug my hub in without filling up harddrive via
  syslog/kern.log errors
