WinTV HVR-900 S-Video input no longer works in with kernel 4.8

Bug description:
Using TVTime or xawtv it looks like selecting S-Video input has no
effect any more and the tuner remains on TV input (static). Sometimes
the image from the S-Video input appears for a split second, but
that's it.
Loading kernel 4.4 I have left over from 16.04 solves the problem and
S-Video input works.
