Can someone clarify whether the ubuntu mainstream kernel site includes the patches. From 4.4.14 I had problems logging in (ecryptfs issues I think). Then it the mainline server listed patches. Now with 4.4.15 the kernel is listed again with patches to apply. I've never encountered this before. Are we supposed to compile them ourselves with patches applied now. Still using 4.4.13 until I understand the changes to the website.
