Micro-sd card not mounted by internal card reader

Bug description:
This card is inserted in the card reader slot via an sd adapter. I've
tried to change several adapters but the card is never mounted (Trusty
Tahr). Card is recognized by other card readers and the internal card
reader recognizes other micro-sd cards.
When I insert the card, I get in dmesg:
[ 725.527784] mmc0: error -110 whilst initialising SD card
[ 725.531751] sdhci-pci 0000:01:04.1: Will use DMA mode even though HW
doesn't fully claim to support it.
repeated few times.
