When I inquired about it on the Ubuntu Forums, I was informed that this chipset was last known to work on Ubuntu 14.04.3, and no longer in Ubuntu 14.04.4. I had bought this network adapter about a year ago from a Linux- friendly retailer specifically because it said it would work harmoniously with Ubuntu. But because it is not supported in 16.04, I am left without Internet access on my desktop, which I require for work and for pleasure. Unfortunately, connecting to my router with an Ethernet cord is not an option, as the distance is too great and awkward. In the meantime, I will have to revert to Ubuntu 14.04.3 to hopefully get Internet on my computer. I hope this will be resolved soon. I'd really like to continue using the latest Ubuntu versions.
