Title:
Bluetooth keyboard non-functional with Broadcom Corp. BCM2046B1 USB
2.0 Hub (part of BCM2046 Bluetooth)
Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: bluez
I have a Logitech DiNovo Edge bluetooth keyboard with the following
bluetooth dongle:
Broadcom Corp. BCM2046B1 USB 2.0 Hub (part of BCM2046 Bluetooth)
This keyboard worked in 9.10, and I migrated to 10.10, and it fails to
pair. Any attempts to use hidd --connect <address> fails with "Can't
get device information: Host is down" message.
i also get plenty of these in the syslog:
bluez_manager_bdaddr_removed_cb: assertion `bdaddr != NULL' failed
I know the keyboard is functional, I can successfully pair it with my
macbook and it works fine.
