Public bug reported: In a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 install, my Macbook does not properly report any of the following in the top bar:
1. Charge. It always says 90-91%. 2. Charging or not: when the power adapter is plugged in, it claims its not plugged in, and the LED is green on the charger; while if its not plugged in, it shows the "spark" symbol - thinking it is plugged in. After a while of being plugged it registers as plugged in, fully charged, even though its only charged ~88% I don't know where to start to troubleshoot this. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Tags: apple battery mac -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1574428 Title: Macbook Pro 9, 2 battery readings screwed up Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: In a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 install, my Macbook does not properly report any of the following in the top bar: 1.
