Public bug reported: When using the 4.4.0-9-generic the splash screen that asks for my encryption password don't register any keypresses. If i force the laptop to shut down and boot again the screen doesn't even show, it's just purple. But then I can enter my password and hit enter and it will unlock and bring me to the Ubuntu login screen.
When shutting down it hangs on "A stop job is running..." (/dev/dm-0 i think it was) until it times out (90 sec). If I switch back to the 4.4.0-8-generic kernel it all works just fine, boot goes to splash screen, I can type in my encryption password, and it also shuts down without waiting for 90 secs.
