** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1393084 "14.04.1 LTS Upgrade available" dialog pops up even after I've already accepted to do the upgrade -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux-lts-trusty in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1393082 Title: After installing Ubuntu 14.04(.5), windows keep popping up asking to upgrade to 14.04 Status in linux-lts-trusty package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After a fresh install using the latest 14.04 media, which calls itself 14.04.5, a very bad dialog window pops up every few minutes: It's bad because its title is "14.04.1 LTS Upgrade available", which is very confusing, since I installaed 14.04.5, and it's bad because the content of the information in the dialog has nothing to do with upgrading. See below. Instead, there are option buttons at the bottom, with which I have to decide whether to upgrade now, later, or never. So it appears to be asking me to make an important decision which (a) makes no sense and (b) is not informed by the information in the box. Here's what's in the window's text area: Welcome to Ubuntu 14.04 'Trusty Tahr' The Ubuntu team is proud to announce Ubuntu 14.04 'Trusty Tahr'.
