Title:
  After installing Ubuntu 14.04(.5), windows keep popping up  asking to
  upgrade to 14.04

Status in linux-lts-trusty package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  After a fresh install using the latest 14.04 media, which calls itself 
14.04.5, a very bad dialog window pops up every few minutes:
  It's bad because its title is "14.04.1 LTS Upgrade available", which is very 
confusing, since I installaed 14.04.5, and it's bad because the content of the 
information in the dialog has nothing to do with upgrading. See below. Instead, 
there are option buttons at the bottom, with which I have to decide whether to 
upgrade now, later, or never.   So it appears to be asking me to make an 
important decision which (a) makes no sense and (b) is not informed by the 
information in the box.
